Just checking in
So I think this blog has taken a turn for the weird. I'm not being disparaging here, just acknowledging. I don't picture many people reading it; it's more like a personal journal of songs that I like working out to these days. Broccoli PTSD
So tonight I made this broccoli soup, and charmingly decided to add some
of Annie's Cheddar Bunnies to it. At first I was like "cute!" Then some sadness and unnamed dread washed over me...
I realized that my soup was triggering memories of the movie Watership Down. :-( So that what I was really seeing was this:
1978's Watership Down, the film that parents were too lazy to read a little about before exposing their kids to it, thus emotionally scarring a generation. Sigh, I actually kind of respect the more casual parenting style of the 70's, even if it kind of ruined these rabbit crackers for me.
